December 10, 2004, Newsletter Issue #31: Making Flavored Cappuccino

Tip of the Week

HOW TO MAKE FLAVORED CAPPUCCINO

There are two approaches to this. Either you can buy flavored beans, make your espresso shot with the ground beans, then add steamed milk and froth. Or simply make your cappuccino with regular beans and add a little flavored syrup at the end.

If you have a passion for one particular flavor, it might be easier to buy the flavored beans. But if you sometimes like your coffee straight, or like a variety of flavors, buy regular beans and keep a selection of syrups on hand for when you want them.
