USING A FRENCH PRESS - AND KEEPING YOUR COFFEE HOT

Using a French Press is a great way to make good coffee. The only problem is when you are using a large unit that makes more than one or two cups of coffee.

How do you keep the coffee hot after you have made it? The best way is to decant the coffee into a thermal carafe. And here`s another hint - fill the carafe with hot water first to heat up the inside. Then pour out the water into the sink before you fill the carafe with your coffee. Do this and you`re not losing any heat from the coffee when it comes into contact with the inside of the carafe.
