MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR COFFEE MAKER
Based on some of the questions coming in to the Coffee Tips site, it seems Santa gave a lot of people a new coffee maker for Christmas!
Here are three of the questions, plus answers:
1. How do I get a good crema on my espresso?
The crema depends on the beans you use. One good choice is our Espresso Dark Roast. You`ll find a link for it below.
2. How do I use my new espresso machine?
Read the instructions! Really. Every machine is different and you`ll need to follow the instructions they sent you.
3. I`m used to HOT coffee from my percolator. My new drip brewer doesn`t make the coffee hot enough for my taste.
It`s a problem! A percolator boils your coffee, so it`s always hot. However, those with a critical palate for coffee will tell you that boiling coffee spoils the flavor. That`s why drip brewers are set to drip the water at a little below boiling point. So you have to make a choice...hot with a little less flavor, or not so hot with the full flavor.
